The 2017 Touro University Worldwide valedictorian was Dr. Michael Eleff, an accomplished oncologist out of Edison, NJ, who attended TUW in order to earn his Master’s in Business Administration. Dr. Eleff has been working as a medical professional for the past 38 years. In addition to his career as an oncologist, though, Dr. Eleff has also served in senior management positions for multiple Fortune 500 companies as well startup ventures.

As Dr. Eleff explains in our interview with him, it was this involvement with the business world that inspired him to pursue his MBA. Dr. Eleff describes how earning an MBA has been a dream of his for some time but the logistics of attending a program while keeping up with his busy career and home life had always gotten in the way. Because of the convenience offered by TUW, though, Dr. Eleff was able to earn his MBA at a pace and schedule that worked for him. Dr. Eleff now plans to use the knowledge he has gained through the program as well as the credentials it has provided him to explore further opportunities in the business world. The story of Dr. Eleff and his time at TUW is one of hard work and determination paying off, and our interview with him is certainly one worth watching.
